The two vessels that service Kodiak and the outlying areas of Kodiak
Island are the Tustumena and the KennicottKodiak also has two docks. The Tustumena docks right in town where the ferry terminal is located.
The Kennicott docks several miles outside of town and there is no terminal or building at all. Please be aware of this if you are sailing without a vehicle on the Kennicott. If you will be calling for transportation once you arrive, you must have a cell phone. It is always best to be prepared with umbrellas etc. since you will be standing out in the weather once you disembark from the Kennicott.
